1. Business details (ECTA section 43)
- Trading name: Auralisse Shield.
- Contact: info@auralisseshield.co.za.
- Goods: personal safety products — rechargeable stun devices, pepper sprays and bundled kits.
- Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). Any applicable taxes and delivery costs are shown at checkout.
- Delivery: dispatched within 1–2 business days, then 5–10 business days within South Africa.
- Payments are processed by our secure checkout provider. We do not store your card details.
2. Lawful use only
- Our products are sold only for lawful personal protection.
- Under South African law, private defence is limited to defending against an unlawful attack that is happening or about to happen, using force that is necessary and proportionate.
- Using any product to attack, threaten, rob, harass or intimidate a person, or to harm animals, may be a criminal offence.
- Laws can change. You are responsible for checking that you may legally buy, own and carry these products where you live and travel.
3. Age restriction
- You must be 18 or older to buy or receive our products.
- By ordering, you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you are buying for lawful personal safety, and that no court order or bail condition prevents you from owning such items.
4. Where you may not carry them
- Stun devices and pepper sprays are not allowed in aircraft cabins or hand luggage. Check with your airline before travelling.
- They are generally not allowed in courts, prisons, schools, National Key Points, public gatherings, or any premises that prohibits them.
5. Returns and cancellations (CPA and ECTA)
- Unused products in their original, unopened packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery.
- For safety reasons, sprays with the safety seal removed or that have been used, and devices that have been activated or tampered with, cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
- Faulty products are handled according to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
6. No guarantee of safety
- No personal safety product can guarantee your protection. Use it as one part of a wider safety plan: awareness, avoiding danger and getting away.
- Some product photos show branded packaging and cases as design mockups. They are not certifications or endorsements.
7. Your privacy (POPIA)
- We collect your contact, delivery and order details only to process orders, arrange delivery, keep required records and help you.
- We never sell your personal information. To ask about or correct your information, email info@auralisseshield.co.za.
