Are these products legal to own and carry?+
Rules differ by country, province, municipality and venue, and they can change. A product being listed for sale does not mean it is lawful to own, carry or use where you are. Before buying, check the rules on purchase, possession, carrying, age restrictions and lawful use of force with your local authorities or a qualified legal adviser. Do your products guarantee my safety?+
No. No product can guarantee protection or replace a personal safety plan. Our products are intended as one part of a broader approach: awareness, avoidance, and seeking help whenever safely possible. Always prioritise leaving danger over confrontation.
How do I look after a rechargeable device?+
Use only the charger specified by the manufacturer, charge in a dry, ventilated place, and never leave it charging unattended. Store it securely, away from children, heat and moisture. Full guidance is on our Safety & Legal page.
What age do I need to be to buy?+
Age restrictions depend on your local laws. Many jurisdictions require buyers of self-defence products to be adults. It is your responsibility to confirm the minimum age that applies where you live before ordering.
Can I take my product on a plane or across a border?+
Usually not. Airlines, airports and border authorities typically restrict or prohibit self-defence sprays and electrical devices in both cabin and checked luggage, and carrying one across a border can be a serious offence. Always check with the airline and the destination country’s authorities before travelling.
The product in the photo has branded packaging — is that what I receive?+
The branded boxes and cases in our product photos are digital packaging mockups created for presentation. They show our intended packaging direction and do not certify the product’s safety, performance or regulatory approval.
Shipping
- We currently deliver within South Africa only.
- Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days; delivery typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your area.
- A tracking link is sent to your email as soon as your order ships.
- Some regions restrict the delivery of self-defence products. If we cannot legally ship to your address, we will cancel and refund the order in full.
Returns
- You may return an unused product in its original packaging within 7 days of delivery.
- For hygiene and safety reasons, opened sprays and activated devices cannot be returned unless faulty.
- If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days with photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the return.
